SpoonFed Pendants

Not exactly art you can eat, but SpoonFed Art is artful jewerly made from eating utensils. Specificially spoons.

Each SpoonFed pendant started out as a spoon before designer Karin Collins got her hot little hands on them. The handle of each spoon has been removed and curved into the bale for the pendant. Then, the spoon is decorated with trinkets, magazine clippings, beads, jewels or just about anything else you can image. Each SpoonFed pendant is one of a kind, making this wearable art just that much more unique. Prices start at $85 and the price includes a black or white cord, ribbon or keyring to go along with the pendant. Pendants can be purchased at SpoonFedArt.com.

Even more interesting is the story behind how SpoonFed was born. Karin Collins began making these pendants many years ago as therapy to sooth her battle with an eating disorder, which gives even more meaning to the spoon-base of these pendants. SpoonFed Art is a member of NEDA, The National Eating Disorders Association.
