Lucite Accessories

A huge trend for spring and summer 2007 will be lucite accessories. Here's Drew Barrymore on February 14th, showing off this cool new trend with stacks of chunky, clear lucite bracelets.

And, no, Drew isn't the only one with the love for lucite. SO many designers have included lucite accessories in their new collections. Marc Jacobs, Dolce and Gabbanna, Chloe and Fendi are just a few of the designer heavy-hitters that are embracing lucite and making it hot again.

What exactly is lucite, anyways? Lucite is a fancy name for transparent plastic. But, hey, people will be way more interested in checking out your new designer lucite bracelet, then your new designer plastic bracelet. It just sounds better...

We were recently turned on to the website, StyleHive.com, and I must say, it's somewhat addicting!
